AusGrader is an education platform designed to help students practise exam questions from Australian curriculum authorities including QCAA, SCSA, VCAA, and NESA. The service provides AI-generated feedback that should be used as a study aid, not as a replacement for teacher feedback, official marking guides, or formal assessments.
AusGrader is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by VCAA, QCAA, NESA, SCSA, or any Australian government entity. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use AusGrader for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes only.

While we strive for accuracy, AusGrader makes no guarantees about the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of any AI-generated feedback.
Feedback should be treated as guidance only and not as a definitive measure of exam performance.
AusGrader uses past exam materials provided by the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence.
Original QCAA exam materials can be accessed directly at www.qcaa.qld.edu.au.
AusGrader uses syllabus extracts and adapted ATAR Course Examination and Marking Key materials from the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) under a paid licence agreement.

AusGrader uses VCE examination questions, extracts from Assessor Reports, and VCE Study Design extracts (key knowledge points, outcome statements) from the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) under a paid licence agreement.

AusGrader uses HSC examination papers, marking guidelines, and syllabus outcomes from the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) under a paid licence agreement.

You retain ownership of any exam responses and written content you submit to AusGrader. By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to process your responses through our AI grading system (powered by OpenAI) solely for the purpose of providing feedback. Neither AusGrader nor OpenAI uses your submitted responses to train AI models.
AI-generated feedback provided by the platform is owned by AusGrader and is licensed to you for personal educational use only.
By using AusGrader, you agree that we may generate aggregated, anonymous performance statistics from exam results across the platform (for example, average scores per question or subject). This data does not identify you personally and may be displayed to other users of the platform.
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using AusGrader, you consent to our collection and use of your information as described there.
AusGrader offers an optional paid tier that unlocks premium features (including unlimited grading and unlimited custom test downloads). The price is shown at checkout in Australian dollars (AUD).
If you are under 18, you may only purchase paid access with the permission of your parent or guardian, who agrees to these payment terms on your behalf.
We may change our prices or the features included in each tier at any time. Any change applies only to future purchases and does not affect access you have already paid for.
Promotional or discount codes, where offered, may be limited in time and in the number of redemptions, and may be withdrawn at any time.
If you change your mind, you may request a refund within 7 days of your purchase, as long as you have graded no more than 15 questions and downloaded no more than 3 custom tests since upgrading. Approved refunds are returned through Stripe to your original payment method, and your paid access ends once the refund is processed.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. You may still be entitled to a refund or other remedy for a major failure, and these rights cannot be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where we are entitled to limit our liability, our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply.
Subject to the rights described above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:

The service may be updated, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updates will take effect immediately when posted. Your continued use of AusGrader after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Victorian courts.
